Ingeborg Sorensen is a former Miss Norway, Miss Europe and was runner-up in the 1972 Miss World contest.
The model that Pompeo photographed for the cover and the "Ripped Off" pictorial is Eva Maria who also appears (in a candid moment relaxing after this shoot) in a Pompeo tribute pictorial in the December 1976 issue.
Margot Kidder, was a Canadian-American actress and activist. She rose to fame in 1978 for her role as Lois Lane in the Superman film series, alongside Christopher Reeve. Margot died in her sleep on May 13, 2018, at the age of 69.
Billie Jean King, one of the most successful tennis players ever, would, in this year, go on to win her sixth Wimbledon title.
